Our mission, as a church, flows from Jesus’ clear teachings about what matters most and how to live purposefully for His glory.
The Great Commandment Matthew 22:37-40
And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
The Great Commission Matthew 28:18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
We value prayer, discipleship, evangelism and generosity as practices to help us grow in grace and truth and follow Christ’s command to make disciples.
Prayer
We take time to pray – listening for the guidance of the Holy Spirit and sharing words of praise, confession, petition, intercession and thanksgiving with God.
We pursue spiritual growth together to invite the transformative power of the gospel to take root, to rule and to reign in our hearts.
Discipleship
Evangelism
We honor Christ the Lord as holy and desire to share our hope in the gospel with those around us, with love and gentleness.
Generosity
Because we serve a God who is generous beyond measure, we strive to live generously – sharing our time, our talents and our treasures, with gratitude and joy.
