Caring for One Another

If you need help or are looking for ways to be a good neighbor, our Care Ministry Team has assembled a number of helpful resources for you. Let’s use this time to love and serve one another well.

While caring for others, take a look at our list of Best Practices for Serving During the Pandemic below.

CARING FOR THE ELDERLY AND THOSE AT-RISK

We’re looking for friends who are willing to help those in our congregation who are elderly or whose medical conditions put them at-risk during the pandemic.

Can you help these Chapel members and regular attenders with grocery shopping – and in some cases, help to pay for things, as needed? Could you check up on them regularly as we weather this storm, together?

OTHER WAYS TO SERVE OR HELP

Critical Need at Children's Hospital

Akron Children's Hospital has a critical need for the following items to keep their staff, patients and visitors safe during the pandemic.

Please contact COVID.resources@akronchildrens.org as soon as possible, if you have any of these items.

Give blood

Many local blood drives have been canceled due to workplace and school closures, but there is still a great need for blood donors at this time.
