Akron Internationals seeks to connect with and enrich the lives of international students, immigrants, and refugee families in our city. Our hope is to build friendships, and bridges for the gospel, as we foster community through events like:
- ESL classes
- Airport pickups and temporary housing
- Friday night dinners
- American Family Experience
- And other events throughout the year
Are you arriving to Akron soon from out of state or overseas? We recognize how hard that can be and we know that it can be a blessing to have someone here to greet you when you arrive. Do you need picked up from the airport? We can help with that.
Friday Night Dinners
Join us every Friday starting August 26 at 6:30pm in The Chapel's Dining Room throughout the Fall and Spring semesters.
English Classes (ESL)
ESL classes are offered during the Fall and Spring semesters. These classes are open to any who are interested in improving their English comprehension and conversational skills. Everyone is welcome, regardless of culture or religion.
Fall Semester - Sep. 6 - Dec. 7
