Our Elementary area is designed to be an interactive and engaging place where kids can grow in community together as they learn how they are part of God’s Story. We teach biblical principles through worship, Bible stories and memorization, and games.
Warm and caring volunteers are background checked and attend several ongoing trainings each year.
Our check-in process for new children begins in the Buchtel Lobby. At the check-in desk you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the nametag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you. Please note – your child cannot be released to you without the corresponding sticker.
Visit our Happening Now page to find out more about specific upcoming events.
Take advantage of our Date Nights for a night out with you and your spouse. They are held quarterly every year. We provide childcare, snacks and fun while you enjoy a couple of hours of quality time with you and your spouse.
Winter Family Event
Each winter we sponsor an event for Elementary students and their entire family. Our desire is to connect families of Elementary students together for community. Come enjoy fun, games, food and fellowship.
Special Parent/Child Events
Through the year we prepare a variety of ways for parents and children to engage together in meaningful ways to build relationships at this critical phase of life.
This class exists as a primer on both The Chapel and the Christian life and is required for anyone desiring baptism or membership. The Family BEGIN class specifically is geared for parents to walk with their child through this process.
